With Chrisette and Kanye I think it's less about their gender and more about the clout.

Timing is a factor too; Trump had literally just become president and America was still reeling, people were scared and angry and of course, looking for someone to blame. Kanye didn't start his foolishness until a couple months back and by that time Trump had become a bit of a joke.

I also think the way she responded was disgusting. She VERY arrogant and the faux abortion mess was disturbing
