Quotefollows Charlie (Terrence J), a playboy who's convinced that relationships are dead even though his sister (Paula Patton), a therapist, tries to tell him otherwise. His best friends bet him that if he sticks to one woman for one month, he's bound to fall in love. Charlie takes the bet because he believes that he?s immune to love? until he crosses paths with Eva (Cassie Ventura). Charlie coaxes Eva into a casual affair but soon finds out that Eva has turned the tables on him. Now Charlie is questioning whether he may actually want more than just a one-night stand

This plot sounds awful.
Why can't Black Directors with actual good ideas get the greenlight

I think the assumption is that we're not intelligent enough to understand or care about anything beyond fighting someone's bvy mama and hauling in a nigger to court for child support.

It's sad though cause Hollywood can make the same movie over and over with a white cast and I'll go this is overdone and boring, but then once a blue moon a movie will come along with a black cast and I'll go wow this is different because it's really that rare to see a full black cast in something other than Slavery, Jim Crow, Gang related Crime drama, or a family movie packed with Jesus and Baby mama drama.  :plzstop:

They tend to believe that there's only certain themes will go see.  Id love to see a black movie in the vein of bourne identity or something.  Now that mike b J is becoming popular hopefully we'll get to see that.
