2017 RULE AMENDMENTS
Songwriters Now Recognized In Album Of The Year
Moving forward, all music creators (songwriters, producers, engineers, mixers, mastering engineers, featured artists) credited with at least 33 percent or more playing time on the winning album will be eligible to receive a GRAMMY in the Album Of The Year category. Previously, songwriters were not recognized in this category.

Only other relevant update members of the naras can now fill out their ballot Online.

The Grammy year ends in 2 and a half months. The album she's featured on is the most critically acclaimed album of the year and commercially successful ..this would've been a shoe in win for her before the rule change.
