No need to call her the Queen or First Lady of this or that.  No need to relegate her to a particular genre.  "The Voice" kinda says it all.

If Whitney had to line up with her predecessors, peers, or successors and just sing-- regardless of their genre or era-- there is not one person who would overshadow or outshine her vocally.

Marian Anderson, Leontyne, Ella, Aretha, Etta, Phyllis, and tons of others had beautiful voices.  In her prime, Whitney's voice took the best from all the greats.

I wasnt gonna say anything but she definitely couldn't. Aretha is a great singer but she's NO fckn whitney. Even if Aretha is put as #1 on a list, its more out of respect. When the music industry dubs u THE VOICE that speaks volumes. There are tons of singers and ur THEE ONE. Yea, she's the best
