Beyonce "tries."

Her vocal is not effortless.

For instance that "I Care" raw studio video. Those grunts. Strategically placed growls. It's all for show, technical, and not anointed. She's yelling on key for short periods, then grunting. People mistake her technicality and preciseness for something else. Like how Whit just opened her mouth and a belt flew out and she wouldnt flinch. Even Bey's falsetto sounds like its hard for her to do. Very airy and with a lot of effort. The end of "Signs" for example. Just not really natural to me, all tricks.

That lil live "Irreplacable" she did with the group of women around her sitting or whatever. So many people posted that on my timelines like it was just..........amazee. But to me, it was just cute. Sing songy and cute but people swear she was sanging.

There's something so peculiar about her voice. It has fooled so many. I think again, its that "package." Her voice alone is actually very light, almost bland against a lot of people on Glock's list.
Where do you rank Aaliyah then? :uhh:
n

he's never ran around here pretending like Aaliyah shits on everyone vocally. Try another angle and refute his actual words here

BRO!

book. Cuz those were my thoughts but.

This aint about ranking Queen. Its about Beyonce but if you have to question Aaliyah because you didn't have anything to say about what I wrote then....welp
I was Just saying since we are giving vocal breakdowns where would you rank Aaliyah as compared to Bey.. :uhh: :dead:

AIDS!

Now here you're kinda preaching.
I've kinda been saying this and got dragged.

I think Bey has perfected her voice, knows it, and has an amazing ear as well.

She can do a lot of tricks and growls and sick harmonies but if she was STRIPPED of all of that and had to give a live, raw impromptu mess with some of the great name gorls of today:

Kelly Price
Toni
KeKe
Fantasia
Brandy
Jazmine
Monica
Tamar
Ledisi

She'd have a HARD time on stage with them. And I don't think she'd be able to outshine a majority of them. She's very rehearsed, and calculated. Nothing wrong with that; that's her style of singing. But she lacks a rawness and vulnerability. Bey has NEVER made me cry while singing. Even when those eye dropped tears are flowing on stage.
I don't feel it.
they would all just be going at it
because they definitely wouldn't just blow Bey away

Yeah I don't think they would Blow Bey away.
Some of the gorls are doing too much.

Does Bey have like, bathroom banger type clips? When someone said strip her of this and that, and have her just give a raw, unrehearsed, from the soul mess, what would she give.... I'm thinking of singers who do renditions of classic songs and just be in their zone...... going..

Does Bey have anything like this that isnt kinda "scripted"

GLOCK

The only thing bey has over jazz in terms of technique is breathing
Jazz needs to run and sing at the same time
She doesn't get that her breathing is her only flaw

She would destroy bey if she gets that in order

I love Jaz, but Bey is a better vocalist than her
slightly. She's more versatile especially live. Jaz is AMAZING
but a full concert from her is basically one song vocally
runs, low notes, belting
End

:plzstop: You don't even believe this. There's no way.
I know this
and Jaz would probably tell you the same thing
If you watch any live performance of In Love With Another Man
Forever Don't Last or any ballad
you'll hear everything Jaz can do
PLUS her breathing is not the best

yummy

I'm listening to "Signs" rn and this damn near don't even sound like the same person :dead:

:stressed: her voice is heavier now. She was more agile back then.

Yeah, I think she believes the growling and yelling sells emotion more because this is worlds apart from what she does now.
